The Center for Advancement of Rural Living is a not-profit 501-C3 organization based in Caribou, Maine. The organization was established in 2011 for the purpose of filling gaps in service for rural populations with a focus on social, economic and cultural arenas. Our key areas of focus include:

The County Area Ride Service (CARS) is now available to rural areas in Aroostook County - priority for residents over the age of 65 and those with visual impairments!
Call 207-493-1223 to register as a member and request rides OR for more information! Or Call Sharon @ 207-551-5672 to explore all available transportation options.
Recommended $20 per month. Once registered, self-addressed stamped envelope will be mailed with program details.
